  • Bread cake - bread roll
  • Butty - bread roll
  • Early doors - early
  • Gaffer - boss
  • Mi Sen - myself
  • Nowt - nothing, not a thing
  • Orright - hello & how are you?
  • Our kid - the youngest family member, will still me called that even if an adult, even if in their twilight years
  • Our lad - any male relative
  • Our lass - as above, but a female family member or partner
  • Owt - anything
  • Twat - female genitalia (sorry!)
